Facebook has made a huge step forward in improving their privacy settings by trying to make them easier to control. Seemingly since it was launched users have struggled to get their privacy settings just the way they want them. Some folks are happy to allow everyone see what they are doing, whereas others want limits on what aspects of their activities are visible. It has always been tricky to get the balance between fully open or barely visible just right but now the social media site has apparently made things easier.
The new update brings a privacy toolbar directly to the homepage and features a more user friendly Activity log. Users can now remove tags from multiple posts or photos at once and requests can also be removed in bulk. The roll out of this new upgrade has begun and is set to reach all users by the end of 2012.

I can’t keep up with all of Facebook’s changes!
oh Facebook. can’t live with it can’t live without it
It’s about time! The privacy settings were so diluted that no one knew what they were even agreeing to!
