Facebook Targets Serious Gamers

The last place you would expect to find serious action games is the home of FarmVille, CityVille and a whole host of slow-moving objective based games. Well, following the success of ChronoBlade, an action packed combat game, Facebook is going to find more of the same. Currently 10 games are set for release from various developers on the site in the coming months. These games will be more involved and complex than former offerings which will hopefully peak the interest of the more serious gamers.

Of course the ultimate aim is to keep users on the site longer rather than playing their favorite console games. Serious gamers are more likely to spend time trying to master more active and challenging games. This is why Facebook feels they need to up the overall quality and excitement of the games they are offering.
