Google+ May Be at Threat From New Facebook Graph Search

download (5)Here we go again, Facebook is releasing a feature that essentially mirrors that of an existing social media site. This time it is Google they are mimicking by releasing what is essentially a search engine on their own site. Google+ obviously has the use of the Google search engine which is something it had over other social media sites. Well, now with Facebook offering their own version Google+ may be losing ground.

Mark Zuckerburg, however, claims that it is not a search engine but in fact a search graph that can give you details about friends. These details include favorite things like foods, restaurants and TV shows. Apparently you type something in such as “Mexican restaurants” and you will receive information about your friends’ favorite Mexican eateries. I guess it saves writing a status and asking your friends’ opinions on the subject.
