LinkedIn Breaks 200 Million Users by Going Global

It turns out that becoming a global business social media network has done wonders for LinkedIn. The U.S. based company has apparently more than doubled its usership to an impressive 200 million+ since branching out. This expansion has come in less than two years as the company was at 100 million back in March of 2011. The U.S. users still make up the largest single country tally, however, with 74 million. India surprisingly comes in second with 18 million users and impressive growth is being shown throughout Asia and South America.

This is obviously a great sign for LinkedIn, which is constantly growing. Revenue is also on the rise for the business site thanks to increased advertising, premium account holders and recruiting services that it offers.social media site LinkedIn
