Apparently those who have been following @MichelleObama on Twitter have not really been following the first lady. The account is apparently run by the President’s campaign office and not the First Lady herself. Well, now there is a new account by the handle @FLOTUS which, although not completely run by Mrs. Obama, it is at least controlled by her own staff.
There will also be tweets from Michelle Obama herself from time to time so this new handle is at least partially run by Mrs. Pres. So for those interested in what is going on with the First Lady they should ignore @MichelleObama and instead follow @FLOTUS.
